There are some people in this world that I know have been making paths for others throughout their life. Darlene Gant is no doubt one of those people. She recently gained notoriety for creating a homemade video from her hospital bed that she posted on Youtube asking for drug maker Genentech to allow her access to Pertuzumab. Family, friends and doctors had each sought out early use of the drug which is expected to be approved by the FDA in June for certain kinds of breast, ovarian and prostate cancers.
Her video went viral and she also had an influential GIRLFRIEND named Linda on her side.
